As I have mentioned I have vast experienced in helping people set goals for their home business and keeping them on the right path to meet and achieve them.

I personally lead a Mastermind Group for an online business training academy. Within this Mastermind Group I have developed a blueprint to help individuals set goals and create a plan to achieve them so that they live the biggest version of themselves and in doing so inspire and impact others. A big part of this program is developing the right mindset and goal setting is a vital element to creating the right entrepreneurial mindset.

In life there can be many distractions which can lead to you losing focus on your entrepreneurial goals. Things like family commitments, technology issues or sometimes you may suffer from a lack of motivation and frustration in your online business.

So, in today’s post I am going to share with you some basic and fundamental goal setting tips. This will help you keep focused on the entrepreneurial goals that you have set.

Entrepreneurial Goals – 3 Goal Setting Tips To Keep You Focused

goal settingWrite Them Down – This may seem an obvious thing to do but many times people fail to do this. By physically writing them down, whether that is by pen and paper or within a simple document on your computer and printing it out, it will make them seem more real and make them much more important to you.

When you write them down you have to be specific, there is no point in being vague. Don’t get into the habit of saying “I think I will do this by”.

What you need to do is say “my first goal is to have X done by a date”. You then have a deadline to meet and it will give you the motivation and momentum you need to meet the deadline. When you have written down all your goals pin them on to the wall of your home office, or have them handy on your desk for easy reference so you can look at them multiple times of the day.

Compress Your List – It is easy to make the mistake of making and writing down too many goals. This could lead you to becoming overwhelmed. If this happens it will be hard for you to meet any of them.

So make your list smaller and prioritize the goals that you have written down. My suggestion would be to make a list of around 3 – 5 and work on them first.

Don’t discard the others, you could make a section B list and go onto them when you have accomplished your main list.

Break The Goals Down – Create mini goal lists. Look at the goal as a whole, and then break it down into bite sized mini goals. These can be seen as little milestones that you achieve and it will give you maximum momentum.

By doing this you will find that you you will get things done quicker and in order to keep up your motivation levels.

So now it is time to set your entrepreneurial goals. Use the three goal setting tips that I have shared with you, and if there is anything that you need help with on setting your goals please feel free to contact me here.

I wish you every success in running your home business from anywhere in the world and achieving all the goals you have set for yourself.

Thought for the day!

Leaders visualize their goals, so just set goals and achieve them and stop making excuses not to. Limiting beliefs are only what you tell yourself to believe, change that mind set and just believe in achieving your goal.
