Is Your Office Making You Sick?
Quite A Question That – Why Not Escape The Rat Race And Deal With The Stress?
Wow, what a thought and question. You are sick and tired of your job, sick and tired of having a boss and your office is making you sick.
I understand those emotions because I have been there in the past myself and I looked for ways to escape the rat race to quit my job back in 2006.
What prompted me to write further today on the topic of escape the rat race was as a result of reading an article in the Metro newspaper from the 30th October 2014.
The article was written by Louise Pyne and she discussed working through stress and explored how to lessen the impact of the daily grind.
What Does Louise Pyne Share In Her Article About Is Your Office Making You Sick?
I am unable to simply copy the article across to this blog die to re-print rights, but just like I have in my various blog posts on this website, Loousie discusses about how people feel sick at the thought of coming to work and put a smile on their face anyway.
According to Mind.org.uk 42 per cent of workers say they felt work anxiety was regarded as a sign of weakness and Louise recommends that if your managers constantly face high expectations from those higher up that they should take control of the situation. Schedule a meeting with your boss and discuss the workload.
I found this article from Louse Pyne, relevant to escaping the rat race and stress management very interesting to read.
Louise Pyne talked about the daily commute sucking the life out of you and the daily grind having an impact on well being. Other topics covered were feeling overwhelmed with your to do list and feelings over job insecurity.
The recession has led to feelings of insecurity and getting fired, to the point that people are so worried about losing their jobs they go to work when they are sick.
