What you can learn from the Apple Watch?
An article from Matt Press, Splash Copywriters, about the Apple Watch.
The Apple Watch has been making various headlines in recent times and, as the owner of a home business, you can learn from Apple.
This article spoke of how the design of the Apple Watch plays a huge part in its future, in that the design isn’t a finished article.
Apple doesn’t just develop something, stick it on the market and move on. Instead, they learn about how customers want to use the Apple Watch and, subsequently, make a series of iterations and improvements.
There are a number of other, broader tips that you can adopt too. Like how your business must offer a seamless experience for your customers. These days, if people can’t find information on your website, get good customer service or easily acquire a developing product or service, they won’t be happy.
Apple is also quite bold in their assertions that the Apple Watch will change people’s lives. And while some people agree, some very much don’t. So don’t be afraid to stick your neck out – if you think you’ve got a great USP, say so. And say why, regardless of anyone who might disagree.
But above all, make sure your brand makes a difference. To have a successful business, home-based or otherwise, there needs to be clear differentiators between what you’re offering and what your rivals are doing. Make sure that your website copy, marketing bumf and communications are hard-hitting and benefit-driven.
Competition is tough in almost every industry, so you should be laser-focused on developing a unique product or service (or a familiar product or service with a unique selling point), a brilliant user experience (both on your website and in any after-care), and then by illustrating how great you are through consistent messaging and a classy, effective brand image.
